Well, this is an interesting light bulb isn’t it. But is there really a light that operates for 10 years without the need for a battery? The answer is yes, they belong to a family of light source known as Self-Powered Lighting. The key is “Tritium”, which is essentially in the form of “radioactive water”. Raioactive water emits beta rays which stimulate the phosphor powder to glow. Tritium continously emits beta rays for more than 10 years and it would keep your Tritium lamp lit for several years. Just be careful and don’t even try breaking your tritium vial because it is dangerous to your health.

seems to have some tips about how asian men could succed in dating white women. Personally, i am very skeptic at this idea. We know for sure that Caucasian men are most likely attracted to Asian women because Asian women have that “exotic look”. Plus of course Asian Women are really good in taking care of their family and their husbands.

Caucasian women are somewhat used to the idea that men should be big, strong, competitive and aggresive. Most asian men are not that type. Physically, Asian men are smaller than caucasian men; the size difference alone projects an image that caucasian men are stronger. If you look at the facial profile of asian men, they have smaller chins and jaws which is a characteristic that is more feminine. Again, this trait presents an image that asian men are somewhat “weaker”.

The only advantage of asian men that I see are good manners and the more conservative, family oriented values. But being conservative presents another problem, most caucasian girls are outgoing and have less inhibitions. These type of girls would not want to go out with a conservative type person.

In my opinion, Asian men would have high success rates dating and marrying caucasian women in their late 20’s or early 30’s because at this stage the woman is more family oriented and does not care too much about the physical aspects of the relationship.

I am really amazed by this classic movie of Steve Martin. To make the story short he really wanted a new wife with a great body and look, since his original wife died. He was able to marry a woman with a perfect body but she is a gold digger and has a bad personality.

One time in the laboratory, there was a preserved “brain specimen” of a lady named Anne that can talk to her telephatically. Soon he was in loved with the preserved brain in the jar because of her great personality. His gold digger wife was then victimized by the elevator killer and died. He recovered the body of his gold digger wife and put it in a machine where it could transfer the consciousness Anne to the body of his wife. The procedure was a success and Anne was transferred to the body of his gold digger wife.

At the end of the movie, the perfect body of his gold digger wife was then turned into an obese form since little did he know that Anne was a compulsive eater hehehehe. In the end she ended up with a wife that has a great personality but with an obese body.

Men hoping for some fireworks in their love life this Fourth of July may want to skip the burgers and beer at the barbecue and eat plenty of watermelon.

Watermelon may be a natural Viagra, says a researcher. That’s because the popular summer fruit is richer than experts believed in an amino acid called citrulline, which relaxes and dilates blood vessels much like Viagra and other drugs meant to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

“We have known that watermelon has citrulline,” says Bhimu Patil, PHD, director of the Fruit and Vegetable Improvement Center at Texas A&M University, College Station. Until recently, he tells WebMD, scientists thought most of the citrulline was in the watermelon rind. “Watermelon has more citrulline in the edible part than previously believed,” he says.

How could watermelon be a natural Viagra? The amino acid citrulline is converted into the amino acid arginine, Patil says. “This is a precursor for nitric oxide, and the nitric oxide will help in blood vessel dilation.”

So, the burning question: How much watermelon does it take?

“That is a good question,” Patil says. Unfortunately, “I don’t have an answer for that.”

He does know that a typical 4-ounce serving of watermelon (about 10 watermelon balls) has about 150 milligrams of citrulline. But he can’t say how much citrulline is needed to have Viagra-like effects.

He’s hopeful that someone will pick up on his research and study the fruit’s effect on penile erections.

Did you ever wonder how enya’s voice came out to be so mysterious and unique? Here’s how. She would sing a particular song for at least 80 times to as much as 500 times. Each performance is individually recorded and then layered together to form a virtual choir, composed of 80 to 500 enyas singing together at the same time. She could have employed 80 unique individuals to form a choir but she opted to use her own voice to form her virtual choir. This is one of the major reasons why enya doesn’t do live concerts.

cancers and cardiovascular diseases. A WHR close to 0.7 is also perceived with increased attractiveness because the male brain is hard wired to be attracted to females with very good health and fertility. Women with the ideal WHR of 0.7 have smarter offsprings as studied by the U.S. National Center for Health Statistics under William Lassek

The Statue of Venus De Milo has a WHR of 0.7

Carbon then crystalizes into diamond after about 16 weeks. One such company that offers the conversion of dead pets or persons into synthetic diamond is Lifegem. The conversion process of ash into diamond takes 6 months if you want the yellow Lifegem diamond and 9 months if you want the blue Lifegem diamond. The cost is $2,500 for 0.20–0.29 carat stones and $14,000 for 0.90–0.99 carat stones.

The image shown below is a damaged sonar dome from a submarine which was attacked by a cookie cutter shark. Tooth marks are also visible. Perhaps the cookie cutter shark mistakenly identified the submarine as a whale.

Cookie cutter sharks can be found in the Philippines and other regions of the Pacific Ocean. They feed on large marine animals by carving a circular piece of flesh on its prey using its sharp teeth. Its prey is then left out with an almost perfect circular bite mark that would appear as if someone used a round cookie cutter.

If you ever watched the movie “Blade 2”, there is a device called “UV Grenade” which blasts away the vampires by generating enormous amount of ultraviolet light. Did you ever wonder how they built this UV grenade? Well, the answers lies on Blade’s tech assistant named “Scud” which is played by Norman Reedus. There is a scene in the movie where “Scud” is looking for fluorescent lamps in the garbage bin. According to the transcript of the movie itself, Scud is looking for used fluorescent lamp tubes so that he can extract the phosphor and make it as a UV Grenade. Obviously, this idea is so wrong. First, the ultraviolet light generated by the fluorescent lamp comes from the mercury gas inside the sealed fluorescent tube. Second, the function of the phosphor inside the lamp is to actually “ABSORB” ultraviolet light and convert it into white light. The phosphor used on fluorescent lamps cannot possibly generate ultraviolet light.
