Do you want Eyes with different colors?

Science No Comments »

Some people has it and we call this condition as Heterochromia. It is a genetic condition where the left and right eye have different colors. In my opinion this condition is a bit ”cute” since you got to
two eyes with different colors,  some people find it weird looking though. Look at the picture of Kate Bosworth,  she got one brown eye and one blue eye. Wow that’ cool, other persons with heterochromia are the following. Check out also the cat with green and blue eyes.

Mila Kunis
Jane Seymour
Kate Bosworth
Dan Aykroyd

Science 3 Comments »

Yes, it can be done now. The ashes of a dead person is purified into high grade carbon which is then subjected into high pressure and high temperature. Carbon then crystalizes into diamond after about 16 weeks.  One such company that offers the conversion of dead pets or persons into synthetic diamond is Lifegem.  The conversion process of ash into diamond takes 6 months if you want the yellow Lifegem diamond and 9 months if you want the blue Lifegem diamond. The cost is $2,500 for 0.20–0.29 carat stones and $14,000 for 0.90–0.99 carat stones.

Cookie cutter shark attacks submarine

Science 4 Comments »

The image shown below is a damaged sonar dome from a submarine which was attacked by a cookie cutter shark. Tooth marks are also visible. Perhaps the cookie cutter shark mistakenly identified the submarine as a whale.

Cookie cutter sharks can be found in the Philippines and other regions of the Pacific Ocean. They feed on large marine animals by carving a circular piece of flesh on its prey using its sharp teeth. Its prey is then left out with an almost perfect circular bite mark that would appear as if someone used a round cookie cutter.
