Did you ever wonder how enya’s voice came out to be so mysterious and unique? Here’s how. She would sing a particular song for at least 80 times to as much as 500 times. Each performance is individually recorded and then layered together to form a virtual choir, composed of 80 to 500 enyas singing together at the same time. She could have employed 80 unique individuals to form a choir but she opted to use her own voice to form her virtual choir. This is one of the major reasons why enya doesn’t do live concerts.
